This report is the twenty-fourth in an annual series, published to present statistical information on the volume and value of domestic tourism. Previously, this has focussed on tourism undertaken by the resident population of the United Kingdom to destinations within the UK and the Republic of Ireland. 2011 represents the first year when this scope has changed to only cover the resident populations of Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) and trips within these jurisdictions.
