Attached is a briefing note on the main tourism-related issues in today’s Autumn Statement. The Statement had two key themes – supporting the section of the population that voted Brexit because they were disillusioned with Government Financial Policy (hence no rise in “sin taxes”) while at the same time investing in infrastructure and business support to try to help mitigate some of the economic problems associated with Brexit:
